Are chatbots puppets?
Chatbots are programs written by engineers to interact with users by simulating human dialogue. Designed, coded, operated, maintained, and improved by biological intelligences, they evolve at the pace of technological innovations. However, we are reaching a turning point where these puppets could end up taking the place of their creators.
